About Me

Meet Summy

Welcome to Summy Nutrition — I’m so glad you’re here!

If you’re ready to take the first step toward better health, you’ve already made an incredible start.

I’m a qualified Nutritionist with a BSc (Hons) in Human Nutrition and Health, with several years of hands-on experience supporting individuals and communities to live healthier, happier lives. My work includes one-to-one consultations, corporate wellness programmes, and 6-week health workshops delivered across a range of organisations (Schools, corporate companies, community groups, charity organisations etc) I have been a guest speaker at the  BBC London Radio and BBC Midlands Radio, Luton Radio as well as Almanaar Heritage Centre (Hub Ladies & New Muslims Group with Kristiane Backer), The British Pakistani Psychiatry Association, SEEAC, BIMA and more. I’ve also been a guest speaker on radio, podcasts, and live television, including appearances on the Islam Channel.

Although I trained as a Dietitian, I discovered that nutrition education is my true passion. I love empowering people with evidence-based knowledge, practical tools, and confidence to take control of their health. Prevention is key and my specialties lie in Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity, and sustainable weight management.

I primarily support women from ethnic minority backgrounds (Asian, Middle Eastern, and Afro-Caribbean communities), where we know there is a higher prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and related conditions. I understand the unique cultural, social, and lifestyle challenges these women face, and my mission is to bridge that knowledge gap and provide supportive, relatable guidance.

If you’re fed up of yo-yo dieting and feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where you’re going wrong, then you’re in the right place!

My approach is simple: No quick fixes, No magic pills, No restrictive diets! Instead, we focus on building a healthy relationship with food, creating sustainable habits, and supporting you through the four pillars of health: nutrition, movement, stress management, and sleep. When one area suffers, the others follow — and together, we’ll create balance.

Every person is unique. There is no “one size fits all.”
My role is to provide you with evidence-based nutrition, debunk those myths and arm you with the right tools and personalised guidance so you can feel happy, healthy, confident, and empowered to prevent illness long term.

Because truly, ‘Health is Wealth’

I can’t wait to support you on your journey!
